Best Tasting Water Contest - Tuesday, March 16

Want to enter your system in the drinking water contest? Bring a gallon of labeled, cooled, drinking water from your community’s supply to the registration desk by 9 AM on Monday, March 16th. Your sample will be kept chilled, and a panel of judges will select a winner based on taste, odor, and clarity. The winning water will be announced at our Awards Banquet on Wednesday evening, March 19th and represent CRWA and compete with nationwide utilities at the NRWA Water Rally in 2027. Fill out the form to register your water.

ZENNER Ultimate Meter Challenge- Tuesday, March 17, 1:30 PM

Timed trials of the Ultimate Meter Competition will begin when the exhibit hall opens at 1:30 pm. Limited Entry! There will be three prize winners for this competition. The winner will automatically advance to the 2026 National Rural Water Conference (WaterPro) in Phoenix, Arizona. This event is sponsored by Zenner USA and designed specifically for Water Professionals to test and measure how quickly, totally, and accurately an individual can assemble a working meter in a bracket tournament. You are invited to a social event to be held at the Exhibit Hall. The happy hour starts at 4:00 PM, where you can catch up with colleagues and exhibitors, plus meet many new ones! Fireside Chat Women's Luncheon- Tuesday, March 17, 12 PM
We invite you to join CRWA's 2nd Annual Fireside Chat: Women in Rural Water Luncheon. This event aims to unite women in the rural water & wastewater industry who are committed to protecting and managing our water resources sustainably. Our guest speaker is making a difference in the water and wastewater sector. Laura Rieck is the Assistant Public Works Director/Utilities Manager for the City of Durango, CO. Her background is in water/wastewater management and operations, water resource management, environmental consulting and engineering, and public education and outreach related to public works and hydrology. She is a certified operator with Water Treatment A, Distribution 4, Wastewater Treatment C, Collections 2, Backflow Tester and Backflow Testing proctor certifications. She is an educator at heart, helping the public learn about what public works does and why it's so important. She is also an operator advocate, striving to help all operators achieve their professional development goals by providing training opportunities to operators throughout Southwest CO and the four corners region.

Colorado Rural Water Sweepstakes

Official Rules


No purchase is necessary to enter or win a prize.  By participating, participants agree to these official rules.

Colorado Rural Water Association will offer prizes contributed through our association and contributing vendors for the Sweepstakes.  Participants can enter in person by purchasing Sweepstakes tickets at the Colorado Rural Water Conference and Exhibition on March 16-19, 2026 in Loveland, Colorado.  Participants can also receive Sweepstakes tickets without making a purchase via mail by following the instructions below.    

Who Is Eligible To Enter/Win?
The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico and who are 18 years of age or older on the day of participation.   An eligible individual who attempts to enter the Sweepstakes is hereafter referred to as a Participant.  Each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules.   

How To Enter The Sweepstakes
Participants who choose to participate in person can purchase Sweepstakes tickets at the Colorado Rural Water Conference and Exhibition on March 16-19, 2026 in Loveland, Colorado. 

Participants can receive tickets without making a purchase by mailing a handwritten note requesting Colorado Rural Utility Scholarship Sweepstakes tickets in a large envelope addressed to:  Colorado Rural Utility Scholarship Sweepstakes, c/o Colorado Rural Water Association, 176 W Palmer Lake Dr Pueblo West, Co 81001.  Requests must include an empty, self-addressed stamped envelope.  CRWA will use the self-addressed stamped envelope to mail two tickets.  Participants may submit one request per week through March 4, 2026. 

All tickets must be entered for prizes at the Colorado Rural Water Conference and Exhibition on March 16-19, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado.  Participants who receive tickets by mail and are unable to enter the tickets in person can receive accommodation by requesting their tickets be randomly entered in the sweepstakes.  Accommodation requests must be received by March 4, 2026. 

Prize Winner Notification
Up to 20 prizes will be available as contributed through the Colorado Rural Water Association and our vendors. Winners have to be present to win.
